Near the Pentagon... spies!		A strange projectile arcs through the air...
The cannister releases its dense smoke!		The guard stiffens it's not smoke, but a powerful paralyzing gas!
An hour later, laden with stolen papers, they make their escape!		Behind them they leave an opened vault,some of America's most important military secrets have been stolen!
American counterspies swing into action. The fugitives are traced to a tiny spot far at sea we'll call ... Spy Island!		GI Joe reports and is told that the stolen secrets have been taken to a hidden computer installation on Spy Island...
Assignment... Go to Spy Island... get those papers back before they can be decoded!		The first step... a waiting destroyer.
Ten miles from the target island... GI Joe dons camouflage shirt and pants...		He leaves the destroyer in a black life raft. Goal, a secret landing on Spy Island...
Radio, ear phones, a coder. Message: Island now in sight! Reply: Go ahead, GI Joe... and good luck!		He makes his landing. From here on in, there's possible danger every moment!
In the dark, a sudden collision!		GI Joe must work fast to prevent the guard from spreading the alarm!
A stroke of good luck... he can now masquerade in an enemy uniform!		Just one large building on the island. The disguised GI Joe makes his entrance...
The missing papers must be in that heavily guarded vault room! No chance of breaking in there... GI Joe's got to do something else!		Here it is! Powerful missiles... to be used, perhaps, in an attack on America!
Awaiting opportunity, he lets himself down into the enclosure to sabotage the missiles.		With every moment counting, he takes it on the run. What a time to be spotted!
Just in time!		Out to sea, he fires three flares... the signal of distress!
Here's the reason... he's been spotted by a bursuit party from the island!		Saved... by a rescue plane signalled for by the destroyer!
Safe aboard, GI Joe witnesses the underground destruction through his binoculars...		...and Spy Island sinks into the depths of the ocean! GI Joe will go on to other adventures!
